DLN roundup: Rodner-Tims’ 39 points leads Bishop Shanahan to victory
Ben Rodner-Tims scored 39 points to lead the Bishop Shanahan boys basketball team to a 59-50 victory against Downingtown East Thursday. The Cougars were led by Micah Hill (13 points), Connor Shanahan (11 points) and Jack Kelly (11 points).
Girls’ basketball
Unionville 42, Kennett 24 >> Leading the way for the visiting Longhorns (15-4, 7-2) was Riley Angstadt (13 points), Elle Johnson (11 points), Milana Amoss (eight points) and Shannon Megill (eight points). Unionville held Kennett to two points in the second quarter. The Blue Demons’ leading scorer was Mikayla Kelly (11 points).
West Chester East 40, Downingtown West 37 >> Three Vikings scored in double figures — Sofia Keith (11 points), Annalise Kubasko (11 points) and Annie Kerns (10 points). For the Whippets, Liz Grant tallied 11 points and Kaitlin Meenan scored 10.
Conestoga 51, Lower Merion 18 >> Ruth Lanouette led the victorious Pioneers with 17 points and six steals. Ryann Jennings added 12 points and Marisa Francione tallied eight.
Great Valley 51, Hatboro Horsham 27 >> Gia Sioutis was the leading scorer for the Patriots with 19 points, and teammate Laura Lum added 11 points.

Conestoga 93, Strath Haven 75 >> With this victory, the Pioneers completed their Central League dual meet season with an undefeated league record. First-place finishers in individual events for Conestoga included Ethan Cheng (200 free), Noel J Park (200 IM), Brennan Stegall (tied for first in 50 free), David Ivory (1-meter diving), Weston Clark (100 fly) and Brock Whitaker (100 free).

First-place finishers in individual events for Conestoga included Juliana Yao (200 free), Audrey Laganelli (200 IM), Lily Robinson (50 free), Emily Todd (1-meter diving), Brianna Fan (100 fly), Louisa Sandorff (100 free), Sarah Fox (500 free) and Maddie Fox (100 back).
