Highlights: Upper Perkiomen got pins from Ben Godshall, Tyler Hoffer, Drew Bennett and Tommy Flud in a PAC Frontier Division win Wednesday at Phoenixville.. That sets up a showdown between the Indians (4-0 Frontier, 9-3 overall) and Pottsgrove for the division title next Wednesday. The Phantoms fell to 0-4 and 2-11.

BOYS BASKETBALL

The Hill School 76, Lawrenceville 51

Hill (11-7, 4-0 MAPL) jumped out to a fast start at Lawrenceville, and never looked back as they cruised to a win over their archrivals that extended their unbeaten streak over the Larries to 10 years. Hill led 43-21 at the half, as Penn commit Augie Gerhart dominated the interior with 20 of his game-high 24 points. Gerhart would yield to Quadri “Bash” Bashiru in the second half, and Bash scored 10 of his own points to keep Hill comfortably ahead. The Blues would stretch the lead to as many as 30 points behind strong defense and rebounding, and very balanced scoring. The win was the fourth straight for Hill, which has clinched the top seed for the MAPL tournament, to be held Feb. 10 at Mercersburg Academy.

Kayleigh Ludwig had the hot hand early, knocking down five 3-pointers in the first half on the way to a 19-point game as Hill School won its rivalry battle with Lawrenceville Wednesday. Hill, which got 18 from Annabella Schafer and 11 from Sammie Faella, led 44-25 at halftime.
