Girls soccer
Wood 6, Little Flower 0: The Vikings won big on Senior Day with Ava DeGeorge leading the way with three goals and one assist. Also scoring for Wood were Sophia Topakas, Daryn Savage and Maddie McCloud. Lauren Greer added another clean sheet in net.
PJP II 10, Norristown 0: The Eagles hung tough and only trailed 3-0 at the half, but then the floodgates opened. Cameron Schuler led the way for PJP with five goals, while also scoring for the Golden Panthers were Sarah Boyce, Angelina Doppel, Aubrey Delpha, Jennifer Todd and Olivia Rubinich. Assists came from Delpha, Rubinich, Kristen Ebner, Camryn Love, Ava Zepp, Kira George, Sophia Paul and Ella Nesspor. Kyanni Escudero made six saves in net for PJP.
Boys soccer
Upper Perk 3, Methacton 3: Logan Courtney delivered the game-tying goal as time expired heading into overtime on Monday in PAC Liberty action from near the halfway line. The Warriors outshot UP 20-10, but had to settle for the tie. Brayden Ahlum and Aryaman Punshi also scored for Methacton (4-4-1). Wyatt Stemler made two saves in net for the Warriors.
Field hockey
Wissahickon 8, Upper Moreland 0: Riley Ball scored three goals as the Trojans overwhelmed the Bears on Monday. Kayla Mullin and Sophia Havrilla each added two goals, while Ella Hummel added a goal and two assists. Mullin and Caroline Kirkpatrick each had two assists. Ava Fell had four saves in net.
Methacton 3, Spring-Ford 0: Avery Schwartz, Elise DeWan and Lily DeWan scored as the Warriors picked up the PAC Liberty win on Monday. Renee Blake and Elise DeWan were credited with assists for Methacton.
Neshaminy 2, North Penn 0: Avery McGinty scored with 3:44 remaining in the first quarter and added another one for the Redskins as Neshaminy won the SOL crossover on Monday. Kiley Moister came through with four saves for the Knights (4-4).
“The Knights had a rough time adjusting to the playing surface at Neshaminy and were unable to capitalize offensively despite forcing 14 penalty corners,” NP head coach Shannon McCracken said. “Neshaminy is a quick and aggressive team and made the most of their opportunities in the Knights’ defensive end.”
Quakertown 2, Sprinfield Twp. 0: Leah Schalm and Katelyn Landis scored as the Panthers rallied for the win on Monday. Grace Bell made six saves in net for Springfield.
Girls volleyball
Souderton 3, Archbishop Carroll 0: The Indians swept to the nonconference match by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-16. Leading the way for Souderton was McKenna Murawski with 12 kills, one ace and seven digs. Also standing out for Souderton were Teya McConaha (12 kills, 2 aces, 6 digs, 1 block), Alexa Mazzeo (2 kills, 1 ace, 1 assist, 16 digs) and Grace Boyd (28 assists, 4 digs, 1 ace).
Upper Merion 3, Methacton 1: The Vikings rallied in four tough sets on Monday, winning by scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-17 and 25-18. Methacton was led by Mandy Baldwin with 10 kills and 19 digs.
