Wissahickon 5, Southern Lehigh 1: Michael Om scored a goal and an assist as the Trojans rolled the opening-day win on Friday.
Souderton 5, CB West 2: Giuseppe Sirchia picked up a pair of goals both off assists from Nolah Hughes as the Indians started strong in SOL play on Friday. Brayden Power, Colin Hughes and Ty Quintois also scored goals for the Indians.
Methacton 2, Exeter 1: The Warriors survived in double overtime in their opener on Friday. Braden Kavanagh delivered the game-winner with under three minutes to go assisted from Cole Larcinese. Tiago Rundle scored off a feed from Cole Kleger earlier in the game.

Souderton 2, Archbishop Carroll 0: The Indians opened the season with a nonconference win on Friday. Freshman Sienna Stunkard scored the first goal of the season off an assist from Maggie Fisher. Alexis Stefanowicz added the backbreaker on a finish from junior Nicole Schulingkamp.
Methacton 1, Downigntown East 1: Junior Aubrey Beaugard scored the tying goal in the 61st minute as the Warriors picked up a tie in nonconference play on Friday. Goalie Mairi Smith was sensational with 13 saves for the Warriors.
Field hockey
Methacton 8, Lower Merion 0: Ceci Rehak scored two goals as the Warriors won going away in their season-opener on Friday. Avery Schwartz, Lily DeWan, Carmela Maro, Elena Weychert, Elise DeWan and Renee Blake all scored goals for Methacton.
Wissahickon 2, CR South 1, OT: In its season-opener on Friday night, Wissahickon’s Ella Hummel delivered the game with 3:56 left to play in overtime. Hummel also picked up an assist with Riley Ball scoring earlier in the game.
