The Main Line high school baseball scene this past spring featured a number of strong teams, including Friends Schools League champion Friends’ Central (21-9 overall, 12-0 league), Inter-Ac champion Malvern Prep (25-4 overall), PAISAA tournament champion Haverford School (17-10) and Episcopal Academy (16-4 overall, 8-2 Inter-Ac). Other local baseball teams that enjoyed solid seasons were Archbishop Carroll (13-8), Lower Merion (11-9), Radnor (10-10) and Barrack Hebrew Academy (8-3).
The All-Main Line high school baseball teams are selected by the coaches. Because Main Line Media News covers 19 high schools, the Main Line Media News sports staff limits the number of sports available to first team, second team and honorable mention – but follows the priority of the coaches’ selections.
