Girls lacrosse
Upper Moreland 9, PW 8 >> The Golden Bears survived a thriller in an SOL American showdown on Monday. Olivia Meakim scored four goals and one assist to lead the way for Upper Moreland (10-1, 6-0) while Analzse Messina added three goals and one assist. Heidi Wittick also chipped in one goal and two assists for the Golden Bears. Meghan Wendlker and Brianna Austin each scored two goals for PW, while Fiona Gooneratne, Rhianna Gooneratne, Sophia Gartland and Bri Reynolds also scored goals for the Colonials (6-3, 5-1) .

Methacton 15, Upper Merion 9 >> The Warriors rallied past the Vikings in PAC play on Monday. Ashley Evitts led the way for Upper Merion with five goals, while Julianna Callison added four goals.

Wissahickon 19, New Hope-Solebury 2 >> The Trojans (7-2) raced out to a 12-1 advantage and won big on Monday. Emma Greenberg and Emma Baker each scored six goals to pace Wissahickon. Alexa McCabe added four goals and one assist, while Nora Ryan and Alexis Hobson also tallied goals.

Baseball
PJP II 16, Methacton 1 >> The Golden Panthers used an 11-run fourth inning to pick up the shortened 16-1 win on Monday. Nik Rubendall paced the offense with three hits and four RBI’s, while Brendan Kenning added three doubles.

Boys tennis
Methacton 6, Plymouth Whitemarsh 1 >> The Warriors (10-3) swept the doubles matches and coasted to the nonconference win on Monday. The match was anything but easy as the Warriors won in three sets at both No. 2 and 3 doubles with the duos of Drew Samtmann/Dylan Kuang and Jack Gamble/Arnav Tiwari prevailing.

New Hope-Solebury 6, Upper Moreland 1 >> Jake Tiernan won convincgly at No. 1 singles, but that was the only win for the Golden Bears on Monday in SOL Freedom action. Upper Moreland was swept out of doubles action without winning a set.

Lansdale Catholic 3, Roman Catholic 2 >> The Crusaders recorded the PCL win behind some stellar doubles play from the No. 1 team of Jack Cleary and Pat Leahy, who won the decider 6-0, 6-1.

Softball
Methacton 15, PJP II 0 >> Caitlin Woolbert went 3-for-3 including a three-run home run as the Warriors (7-6) won big on Monday in PAC play. Megan Lineen picked up the win in the circle, allowing just one hit in three innings.

PW 3, Quakertown 2 >> Molly Moore was dominant for the Colonials (6-2, 6-3) on Monday in a SOL Liberty showdown, allowing just three hits in a complete-game gem with 11 strikeouts. Kalina Cholders, Marissa Perez and Lauryn Kane all managed multiple hits for PW. Perez and Childers led the way with three hits apiece.

Upper Perk 6, Norristown 2 >> The Eagles fell behind 5-0 after two innings and had trouble recovering in a PAC defeat on Monday.

Boys lacrosse
Souderton 17, Archbishop Carroll 2 >> Jamison McDivitt scored five goals and added one assist as the Indians (5-2) won the nonconference game on Monday. Tyson Bui added four goals, while Seth Grossman scored two goals and two assists. Tanner Weaver tallied three goals, while John Martin-Vince added three assists.

Boys volleyball
Abington 3, Souderton 1 >> The Ghosts rallied past the Indians in four sets, winning 25-27, 25-18, 25-17 and 25-15 on Monday night. Leading the way for Souderton was JC Peacock with seven kills.
