Souderton 9, Pennsbury 7 >> The Indians (4-2) trailed 6-3 entering the top of the seventh before rallying for the win in eight innings on Friday. Ethan Warner delivered the game-winning two-run single in the 8th and Will McCausland closed out the game with a scoreless bottom half of the inning. Warner and Luke Pollock both had two hits on the day with Conlan Wall doubling and scoring three times. Warner finished the day with four RBIs in addition to his two hits.

PJP II 3, Upper Perk 2 >> The Golden Panthers (3-4) fell behind 2-0 after one inning, but recovered in time to rally for the PAC win on Friday. Nick Rubendall went 2-for-2 with a triple and a run score to pace the offense, while Adam Yarrison pitched two-hit ball over six innings.
Jenkintown 10, Bristol 0 >> Sam Schumm tossed the shutout for the Drakes and also doubled and singled. Charlie Levy added three hits and three runs scored, while Ben Spector tripled for Jenkintown.

Softball
Plymouth Whitemarsh 12, Springfield-Montco 6 >> The Colonials rallied for six runs in the 7th inning and got the win on Friday. Freshman Madison Moran came in to pitch the third inning and finished with her first varsity win with nine strikeouts and four hits over five innings. Lauren Kane and Rian Reed led the offensive attack with three hits apiece. Haylie Lindley and Marissa Perez added two hits each for PW.

Boys volleyball
Dock 3, Souderton 0 >> The Pioneers (9-1) picked up the win over their rivals by scores of 25-23, 25-18 and 25-19. Over the past four seasons, the Indians won this matchup with excellent, powerful plays. This year it was finally Dock’s time to take the upper hand. The Pioneers finished with 35 kills, 10 aces, 13 digs and two stuff blocks. Andrew Brown led Souderton with 14 kills, while Nate Brown added 11 kills.

Pennridge 3, Quakertown 1 >> The Rams picked up the win on Thursday night by scores of 19-25, 25-15, 25-18 and 25-17. Riley Kodidek paced Pennridge (7-1) with 38 assists, 14 digs, four aces and three kills, while Tyler Johnson added nine kills and four blocks. Also standing out for Pennridge were Nick Smith (six kills, five blocks), Jude Rotondo (16 kills, seven digs, two aces), Thomas McKinney (11 kills, 10 digs), Jason McCreary (three kills, five blocks), Aaron Ladd (three kills), Alex Derk (18 digs) and Ty Porter (seven digs).

Boys lacrosse
Methacton 5, Perk Valley 4 >> PV got shut out in the first quarter and never found its identity on offense being held to just four goals Methacton rode the strong play of its goal and attack man Gunnar Seaman who had all five of the Warriors’ goals. Owen Avelar had 12 saves in net for Methacton.

Owen J. Roberts 10, Upper Merion 6 >> The Vikings were outscored 6-2 in the third quarter and dropped the PAC contest on Thursday. Casey Lamey scored a goal and dished out three assists, while Kevin Roseland added two goals for the Vikings.

Souderton 15, Pennridge 6 >> The Indians took an 8-2 lead into the half and coasted to the SOL National win on Friday. Pennridge was paced by Frankie Fanelli and Matt Seiler with two goals each. Kieran Banks added 24 saves in net for the Rams.

Wissahickon 14, Springfield-Montco 1 >> The Trojans won big on Friday behind a four-goal performance from Sam Baker. Kyle Lehman added three goals and three assists for Wiss, while Andrew Slackman and Nick Donofrio added two goals apiece.

PJP II 17, Upper Darby 8 >> Freshman Ian Young cashed in on five goals as the Golden Panthers picked up the nonconference win on Friday. Juniors Eric Zadroga and Connor Gucwa combined for six goals and four assists to power PJP II to a 5-4 record. Freshman Denny Owens helped lead the defense with consistent interceptions and deflections to help PJP build a 17-2 lead midway through the third quarter.

Girls lacrosse
Mount St. Joseph Academy 19, Villa Jo 3 >> Devin Loome and Amelia Clair each scored five goals as The Mount won big on Thursday. Lauren Maher and Sophie Peters each added two goals, while Annie Shields made seven saves in net for Mount St. Joe’s.

WC Henderson 16, Souderton 9 >> Lauren Hallman scored five goals but the Indians suffered the tough nonconference loss on Friday. Yasmin Khatri added three assists for Souderton, while Reiley Knize added two goals. Angela Borisow and Ava Shaw also scored goals for Souderton.
