Central Bucks West’s Patrick Kelly and Carl DiGiorgio finished first at the 20th Annual Wetzel Holiday Classic. Kelly won the 106 lb title with a pin in 2:59 while DiGiorgio claimed the 215 lb title with an 8-2 decision.

Wissahickon placed 12th in the 24-team tournament. Place-winners included Julian Memis (106) – 8th, Nathanael Chez (172) – 6th, Joey Connolly (189) – 5th, Tyler Prince (215) – 6th and Tyler Franczyk (285) – 7th.

Boys basketball

Central Bucks East 52, Germantown Friends 41  >> Jacob Cummiskey scored 16 points and added five rebounds and three assists to lead the Patriots to the Boardwalk Basketball Classic championship in Wildwood, NJ. 

Cummiskey scored eight points in the fourth quarter to help CB East extend a 35-33 lead after three quarters.

Brett Young added nine points and Nick Rivera had seven.
