Girls soccer
PW 1, Tennent 0 >> The Colonials rallied in the first 90 seconds of overtime to pull out the SOL crossover win on Monday. Soph Caelin Kosvitch played the corner in and senior Fiona Gooneratne finished it to win the game, her sixth goal of the season.
“Fiona is our leader and she continues to come up big each game,” said PW coach Thomas DeLucia.
The midfield came up big as well with Ella Clark and Kosvitch standing out. Soph keeper Caitlyn Dish earned her fourth shutout of the season behind a strong defensive effort from Brianna Reynolds, Meghan Wendler, Kate Lukens, Libby Daddonna and Emma Vuotto.
Abington 7, Springfield Twp. 0 >> Mei Mei Cheng, Carley Slavin, Lily Gray, Piper McGinley, Harper McGinley, Maura Day and Ashley Reilly provided the goals for the Ghosts on Monday in SOL crossover action. Alexis Ditri had two saves and Lannen Lare added four stops to preserve the shutout.
Wissahickon 8, Cheltenham 1 >> Kylie Friedman, Pamela Baker and Margaret Wilde each scored two goals for the Trojans on Monday. The game also saw the debut of Natalie Ryan in goal for Wiss.
Neshaminy 4, Souderton 0 >> The Indians started the game well behind the play of senior Avery Nogami, but couldn’t convert on their chances.
Quakertown 2, Upper Moreland 1 >> Kyra Favors scored in the 41st minute for the Golden Bears, but it didn’t stand up. Quakertown rallied with goals from Madison Kalinowski and Rachel McMonagle.

Pottsgrove 1, PJP II 0 >> Dylan Russ made six saves in net but the Golden Panthers dropped the PAC contest on Monday.
Dock 8, Renaissance Academy 0 >> Cameron LeSuer and Zach Frederick each scored two goals as the Pioneers welcomed Renaissance Academy into the BAL on Monday. Benjamin German, Aidan Lee, John O’Donnell and Stellan Derstine also scored for Dock (5-2-3, 5-1-3). Cody Sell made one save for the Pioneers in net.
Wissahickon 3, Cheltenham 0 >> Ziggy Macfarlene scored two minutes into the contest and it held up for the Trojans on Monday in SOL crossover action. Phil Dias and Michael Om added second-half goals for Wissahickon. Dias also picked up an assist for Wiss. Aditya Shah and Joey Connolly combined for two saves in net.
Souderton 2, Neshaminy 1 >> Tyler Bovell and Brandon Fornwall scored in the last 10 minutes of the contest as the Indians rallied for the win on Monday. Aidan McClure made four saves in net for Souderton.
Field hockey
PJP II 2, Phoenixville 1 >> Fiona Burke and Brookyln Rogers provided the goals in a PAC win on Monday for the Golden Panthers.
Pottsgrove 6, Upper Merion 2 >> The Vikings took a 2-1 lead into the half on Monday with goals by Ashley Evitts and Ella Menke. Pottsgrove rallied in the second half behind two-goal performanes from Katie Bean and Cece Burg. Anu Akin made four saves in net for Upper Merion.
North Penn 6, Bensalem 0 >> The Knights continue to be an offensive threat, rolling to the SOL crossover win on Monday. Leading the way with two goals for the Knights (7-3) was Riley O’Donnell and Catherine McGeehan, who each scored two goals. Belle Sparango and Grace McGeehan also scored for North Penn.
Wissahickon 11, Cheltenham 0 >> Ella Hummel, Julia Schools and Riley Ball each scored twice as the Trojans won big on Monday. Also scoring for Wiss were Kendall Crowley, Caroline Kirkpatrick, Brynne Miller, Noelle Koop and Morgan Risnychok. Cheltenham goalie Mayana Perry made 18 saves in net.
Methacton 5, Owen J. Roberts 1 >> Elena Snodgrass tallied a pair of goals and Madison Noh added three assists for Methacton on Monday.
Girls volleyball
PV 3, CB West 1 >> The Bucks dropped the match in a nonconference match on Monday by scores of 25-17, 27-29, 25-21 and 25-18. Lilah Maus led PV with 12 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks and 1 dig.
Hatboro-Horsham 3, Cardinal O’Hara 1 >> The Hatters added another one in the win column with a 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23 win on Monday. The offense was led by senior setter Grace Howard with 39 assists and four aces. At the net senior Nastya Tsetsko and Izzy Bombas led the way with 17 and 12 kills respectively and juniors Jade Lauzier and Kayla Jones adding 8 and 5 to the mix.
Boyertown 3, Methacton 0 >> The Warriors dropped the PAC contest on Monday by scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 26-24. Methacton was led offensively by Mel Eglington with 8 kills and Meg Haftl with 25 assists and four aces. The Warriors (7-7, 4-3) are at Spring-Ford on Wednesday.
Spring-Ford 3, Norristown 0 >> The Rams rolled to the win on Monday by scores of 25-7, 25-7 and 25-9. Dannica Fuller led Spring-Ford with nine assists during the PAC victory.
Upper Merion 3, Pottsgrove 0 >> Sophia Schweikert had 20 kills and 11 digs while Caitlyn Daywalt and Raven Albrecht combined for 30 assists in Upper Merion’s sweep of Pottsgrove by scores of 25-10, 25-18 and 25-19 on Monday. Vanessa Hutchinson had 14 service points to go with her 10 digs for the Vikings (9-3, 8-2).
Girls tennis
Upper Moreland 4, Quakertown 3 >> The Golden Bears swept the singles matches in picking up the SOL crossover win on Monday. The match rested on No. 3 doubles where Claire-Marie Kopan and Abby McKeever pulled out an 8-6 win over Emily Eichlin and Sarah Riddle.
Methacton 7, Upper Perk 0 >> The Warriors didn’t drop a set in rolling to the PAC win on Monday. Singles players Alice Liang, Hana Nouaime and Anika Suresh did not drop a game.
