Dalton Harkins, Sr., Malvern Prep, 152 pounds
First Team
106- Tommy Link, Fr., Malvern Prep
Went 51-11 with a second-place finish at prep states and bronze at prep nationals. Won a Escape the Rock title, as well.
113- Spencer Barnhart, Fr., Malvern Prep
Finished runner-up at prep states and went 41-14. He took fourth at Powerade and eighth at Escape the Rock.
120- Dayton DelViscio, Sr., Malvern Prep
Claimed a prep state title before taking third at prep nationals. He went 52-11, with wins over two eventual PIAA silver medalists.
126- Sammy McMonagle, Jr., West Chester Henderson
Earned his first state medal, taking seventh in Hershey after a third-place finish at regionals. Set a school record with 46 wins.
132- Trent Kochersperger, Jr., Kennett
Became first state qualifier from Kennett since 2009 after placing third at regionals. He went 42-6 with 24 pins.
138- Ryan Aquilani, Soph., Malvern Prep
Reached the prep state finals, qualifying for his first national tournament as the runner-up. He went 35-17.
145- Isaiah Wright, Soph., Malvern Prep
Won 39 of 51 bouts, advancing to the national tournament with a fourth-place finish at prep states.
152- Bo Horvath, Fr., Downingtown East
Burst onto the scene with a record of 30-9. He won the District 1 West section title, qualifying him for regionals.
160- Jack Wehmeyer, Soph., Malvern Prep
Placed at nationals for the first time, taking sixth after a third-place finish at states. He went 44-16.
170- Caden Rogers, Soph., Malvern Prep
Followed a runner-up finish at states with a bronze medal at nationals. He finished with a 50-14 reord.
182- Max Hale, Sr., Downingtown West
Won his third straight regional title and became the first wrestler from West to earn three state medals, placing fifth in Hershey. He went 37-10.
195- Nick Feldman, Soph., Malvern Prep
Breezed through the postseason winning his first state and national titles, to go with a Beast of the East crown. He went 55-3.
220- Chase Mielnik, Sr., Downingtown West
Pinned his way to a regional title and then was the highest-local placer at states, taking fourth. He went 38-7.
285- Cole Deery, Jr., Malvern Prep
Lost just once all season, in the Beast semifinals, claiming state and national titles in his first year at Malvern. He went 55-1.
