10. St. Joseph’s Prep 23, La Salle 13
“We had them,” La Salle junior linebacker Dillon Trainer said. “We had them. That’s going to burn for a while.”
With their defense keeping the high-scoring St. Joseph’s Prep in check, the La Salle held a 13-10 lead after three quarters of the Philadelphia Catholic League Class 6A final. But in the fourth, Prep sophomore quarterback Kyle McCord threw a pair of touchdown passes as the Hawks scored the final 13 points to rally past La Salle 23-13 at a rainy and windswept Charles Martin Memorial Stadium.
