La Salle at North Penn, 8/30, 7 p.m.
Two perennial powers get together for their annual early-season non-league test.
Abington at Cheltenham, 9/6, 7 p.m.
These rivals are separated by less than three miles. Cheltenham returns most of its skill players who won five of their final seven regular season games last year after losing to Abington, 27-0.
Pennridge at Souderton, 9/13, 7 p.m.
A pair of SOL Continental schools that can light up the scoreboard. Souderton won last year’s meeting that saw the teams combined for 71 points.
Upper Dublin at Quakertown, 10/4, 7 p.m.
This is a midseason game that could determine the SOL American champion. Last year the Cardinals beat the Panthers by one point to pull ahead in the standings and went on to win the league crown.
