Players to watch: Seniors: Alexis Grippo, forward; Erin Kelly, midfield/defense; Lexi Davidson, midfield; Eileen Carmichael, forward. Juniors: Giavanna Tabarrini, midfield; MaryKate Stone, defense.
Outlook: Coming off an admittedly disappointing 2015 campaign, deLaurentis says there is plenty to look forward to at The Hill this year, especially when looking down the lineup. With the return of All-MAPL First/All-Area Second Teamers Grippo and Kelly along with Carmichael (All-Area Honorable Mention), the Blues could be primed to make a run into the MAPL playoffs. “We’re looking forward to a new year,” said deLaurentis. “With new talent added to the roster and our strong core returning, we are hopeful for a better, more competitive season. We are excited about what we can accomplish and look forward to a fun year of hockey.”
