Corcoran, Michniak power Sacred Heart

Kerri Corcoran (eight blocks, 10 kills) and Juliana Michniak (six blocks, 12 kills) dominated at the net, Jessica McTaggert dished out 34 assists and the tandem of Lauren Kilroy and Ally Schell combined for 42 digs to power Sacred Heart (10-6, 6-4) to a 3-0 sweep of St. Basil in the Catholic Academies League.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Notre Dame 3, Agnes Irwin 0 >> Kristen Rogers (six kills), Dana Kieft (seven digs) and the rest of the Irish (9-4, 2-1) controlled play throughout.

In the Del Val League:

Academy Park 3, Chichester 0 >> The first-place Knights (11-3, 8-0) cruised as Daria Robinson served seven aces to go with a dozen digs, Trea-sure Kitter delivered nine kills, four blocks and a pair of aces, and Mariah Waller came through with six kills and two blocks.

Chester 3, Penn Wood 0 >> Francesca Torres was an offensive force, totaling four aces and seven kills, while freshman Carla Torres landed three aces to keep the Clippers (2-6, 2-0) unbeaten in league play.
