Episcopal Academy earns opening win against CB South

The Episcopal Academy field hockey team earned a 6-0 win against Central Bucks South Friday in its season opener. Goal scorers were  Corine Zanolli (two), Margaux Paolino, Angela Rocca, Colby Gallagher and Maddie Bacskai. Assists were by  Courtnie Williamson (two), Maddie Bacskai (two) and Corine Zanolli. EA goalies  Bridget Boyle and Caroline Kelly each had two saves.

EA head coach Gina Buggy said, “We had nice transition of the ball today, leading to solid scoring opportunities; corners were productive, and overall I feel it was a nice start to the season.”
