Shipley girls’ soccer team blanks Baldwin
The Shipley girls’ soccer team got their season off to a strong start with a 1-0 victory over Baldwin on Wednesday afternoon. Shipley found the breakthrough in the 26th minute, when Natalia Joseph’s tireless running was rewarded when she nodded home a rebound from a long strike by Bella Trachtenberg. Shipley’s backline, anchored by Eliza Green, helped freshman goalkeeper Grace Gordon keep a clean sheet in her first start for the Gators.
