Episcopal Academy girls’ tennis team nets victory against Friends’ Central

The Episcopal Academy girls’ tennis team defeated Friends’ Central, 6-1, Wednesday. At first singles, EA’s Nadiyah Browning defeated Zoe Ginsberg 6-3, 6-1. At second singles, Friends’ Central’s Skye Victor defeated Sam Macrides 6-0, 6-4; and at third singles, EA’s Bella Calastri  defeated Madeleine Coss 6-0, 6-0.

EA won all the doubles matches. At first doubles Bella Echevarria and Kaity Tarte defeated Leah Harris and Julia Nierehberg 6-1, 6-3; at second doubles, Haley Potter and Nina Stavropolous defeated Laura Barr and Claire Coss 6-2, 6-1; at third doubles, Emily Beinkampen and Eloise Nimoityn defeated Sophie Berger and Elizabeth Kaphaely 6-2, 6-4; and at fourth doubles, Katie Kane and Jessica Bai defeated Nicole Pollack and Fiona Victor 6-1, 6-2.
