Gregory connects twice as Haverford School rolls

For a half, St. John’s was able to stay with The Haverford School, the ninth-ranked team in the nation, according to topdrawersoccer.com

The second half, though, belonged to the Fords.

Haverford School score tallied three times in the final 40 minutes to open the season with a 4-0 nonleague win over St. John’s Monday at the Pennington School.

Connor Gregory paced the offense with two goals. Shane Bradley and Alec Haas also scored for the Fords. Connor Bradley dealt two assists and goalie Will Baltrus made one save to record the shutout.

EA, though, was able to come out on top thanks to single goals from Matthew McDevitt, Quinn Dudek and Matt DePillis.
