Glen Mills caps strong second half with win over Sun Valley

Glen Mills capped a late season surge with a 5-0 win over Sun Valley in non-conference action.

The Battlin’ Bulls won three of their last four matches to finish 7-9 overall. First singles player Kevin Portalatin bested Josh Lehrberger 6-4, 6-2 to start the rout. Glen Mills didn’t drop a game in the win.

Academy Park 4, Girard College 1: The Knights keep rolling through a heavy schedule. Duwaine Jenkins continued his stellar play with 4-6, 6-3 (10-6) come from behind win over Jaeson Mancrieff. Academy Park (13-2, 8-2 Del Val) went on to sweep the doubles to seal the victory.
