Dragoni’s two goals boost Garnet Valley

Morgan Morrisroe set up goals by Brittany Dragoni in the 73rd and 77th minutes to extend Garnet Valley’s winning streak to eight, as the Jaguars rallied to take down host West Chester Henderson, 3-2, in a nonleague thriller.

Emily Mathewson scored in the first half for the Jags (8-3 overall), and Ashley Bufano made the comeback possible by turning aside 10 shots.

In other nonleague action:

Delco Christian 4, Westtown 2: Julia Kyne carried the offense with two goals and two assists while Claudia Norton, Paige Thompson and Brenna Richards provided a solid back line for the host Knights (6-2-1).

St. Hubert 2, Interboro 1: Danielle Iavarone scored off a feed from Haley Fisher just 45 seconds into the match, but even a dozen saves by Shannon Butler and outstanding defense from Sami Barnett and McKenna McLaughlin couldn’t keep the Bucs (2-8-1) from falling on the road.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Agnes Irwin 3, Penn Charter 1: Emily Fryer poked home a loose ball in the box in the first half and Kristin Burnetta struck for a pair of goals off through balls from Hannah Keating after intermission to send Agnes Irwin (4-0 overall, 2-0 league) to a key road win. Keeper Kendall Shein made nine stops and received defensive help from Claire Micheletti, Kate White, Caitie Looby and Lauren Spinelli.

Episcopal Academy 4, Baldwin 1: Tara Boyle tallied twice and set up another score to lead the Churchmen.

Springside Chestnut Hill 5, Notre Dame 3: Gabby Agnes, Julia Dambly and Carolyn Reigel scored for the Irish (4-3-1).
