Gilligan helps serve up a win for Upper Darby

Junior Tara Gilligan got hot at the service line to pace Upper Darby to a 3-0 nonleague triumph over Chester Charter School for the Arts.

Gilligan had three six-point service runs that included five aces in the 25-11, 25-7, 25-14 victory. Fellow junior Rylee Shanahan had a strong game with five kills and six service aces.

In other nonleague action:

Sacred Heart 3, Bonner & Prendergast 0 >> Jaycee Webster paced the Lions with 12 kills and nine digs. Erin Corcoran added seven aces and three kills, while Hannah Martinson dished out 20 assists.
