Reporter Area Girls Soccer Wrap: North Penn tops Tennent for 3rd straight win

Anna Pedicone scored in the 12th minute while Alexis Henderson and Marissa Werner added goals in the second half as North Penn won its third straight with a 3-1 SOL Continental victory over William Tennent Tuesday.

Ashley Rivera collected William Tennet’s goal in the 73rd minute. Rachel Knight made 10 saves for the Panthers (3-2-0, 2-1-0 conference), while Hannah Lambert stopped seven shots for NP (3-2-0, 2-1-0).

Kate Henesey scored on a 30-yard laser to tie the game and then freshman Taylor Connelly followed just two minutes later to loft the game winner over Colleen Morton’s reach.
