Coach: Todd Van Horn, first season.

Last year’s record: 1-14 overall.

Players to watch: Seniors Brendan Wurtz, mid.; Tyler Van Horn, def.; Wyatt Porter, mid.; Thaddeus Brown, G; Garret Walton, att.

Outlook: With a crew of returning seniors, including future college player Wurtz (Messiah) and Van Horn (Misericordia), first-year coach Todd Van Horn is encouraged by the “strong senior leadership.” Wurtz, Porter, Van Horn and three-year starting goalie Brown are the mainstays and the Falcons will be boosted by the return of Walton, who missed 2015 due to injury. It’s been a few lean years for the Falcons, meaning the goals are simply about progress. “(Our goals are) to improve on last year’s record, while establishing a firm foundation to promote the future of Pottsgrove lacrosse,” coach Van Horn said.
