Harriton tennis team aces Penncrest

The Harriton High School girls’ tennis team defeated Penncrest, 7-0, Tuesday, with all three singles players winning both sets at love.  Sophia Sassoli beat Rebecca Viguers, Connie Richards bested Rose Taylor, and Nina Hoog topped Elizabeth Harahan at first, second and third singles respectively.  The four doubles teams lost a total of 10 games in their two-set wins.  Sofia Kandoussi and Lauren Binnion at first doubles, Gabrielle Kontra and Sonia Groeneveld at second doubles, Sophia Kontra and Nell Jones at third doubles, and the fourth doubles team of Emma Anisman and Katie Lee all prevailed in their matches for Harriton.
