Baldwin volleyball squad downs Westtown

The Baldwin School volleyball team swept the Westtown School in a non league match Friday, 26-24, 25-15 ,25-27. Pacing the Bears was Danny Hammond (six aces, six kills, four blocks), Kejohna Hammond (four aces, nine kills), Gabby Alston (five kills, six blocks) and Cartier Thomas (14 assists).

On Thursday, the Bears opened their 2015 season beating the Academy of New Church by the scores of 25-16,25-12,25-6.Baldwin scored 31 aces on the match with Haley Tavares and Caroline Kiser each recording 12. Dani Hammond had eight kills, Kejohna Hammond four kills, Haley Tavares registered five blocks, Gabby Alston two kills and two blocks, and Cartier Thomas dished out 12 assists.
