Beast of the East >> Boyertown’s Jakob Campbell, Jordan Wood and Tommy Killoran stayed in the gold-medal hunt through the first day’s action at the University of Delaware.
Wood pinned his way past his three 220-pound opponents, the fastest a 59-second drop of Hanover Park’s Patrick Julich. Killoran had two falls off a first-round bye, and Campbell had a technical fall alongside two major decisions.
The tourney’s action resumes 8:30 a.m. Sunday with championship quarterfinal and fifth-round consolations. The final round will get off at approximately 3:15 p.m.
