Delco Catholic League Basketball Champions

Few leagues in the country have a history quite like the Philadelphia Catholic League. Since 1920 for the boys and 1945 for the girls, the city has crowned champions among its rotating roster of schools, the product of one of the most competitive leagues in the nation.

Each of Delco’s three Catholic schools – four, when you count the closed Notre Dame in Moylan – have contributed to that legacy. While the boys title has long been a city affair, the girls titles have belonged to the suburban set for many years, with Delco applying its stamp over eras of dominance, including one that has accounted for 24 championships since 1991.
