CB West 9, Pennsbury 7: Will Hogenauer doubled twice as the Bucks rallied with a two-run sixth inning and picked up the win on Tuesday. Kevin Bukowski also tripled and scored for West, while Julio Ermiogiotti drove in two runs.
Souderton 3, CR North 2: Souderton picked up a much-needed win against Council Rock North in a close game that was decided by one run. Austin Kreyenhagen threw 6-1/2 innings allowing just 3 hits. Chris McKenna hit a solo home-run to begin the game for the Indians. Tyler Lutz went 2-for-4, and Joey Crecca went 3-for-3 for the 2nd game in a row, knocking in 2 of Souderton’s 3 runs.
Girls lacrosse
Pope John Paul II 10, Upper Perk 9: Jill Cobaugh scored five goals, while Cate Mink and Maddie Memmo scored two apiece for the Golden Panthers on Tuesday. Sarah Mink scored one goal and one assist, while Grace Mondillo also picked up an assist.
Archbishop Carroll 20, St. Hubert 0: Calista Hubbard scored three goals, while Cate McConaghy added two more for the Patriots on Tuesday. Ava Bleckley added four assists, while Machaela Henry added two. Bridget Robinson and Mel Rader split time in goal, stopping four shots for Carroll (13-1, 7-0).
Methacton 11, Spring-Ford 10: Megan Sanelli scored four goals and added one assist as the Warriors won a PAC thriller on Tuesday. Michelle Zhai added three goals and two assists, while Lily DeWan added two goals. Emily Drake made 10 saves in net.
Upper Merion 16, Pottsgrove 3: Olivia Smith scored six goals as the Vikings won going away on Tuesday. Julianna Callison and Sam Walmsley added three goals apiece, while Ashley Evitts added two goals and one assist. Also scoring for Upper Merion were Brooke Olsen and Audrey Schuebel, while Anaya Onwubuariri had four saves.
Boys lacrosse
Owen J. Roberts 13, Upper Merion 11: The Vikings rallied from a 9-2 halftime deficit, but fell just short on Tuesday. Kevin Roseland paced Upper Merion with six goals, while Justin Besz added two goals. Casey Lamey chipped in with one goal and three assists, while Collin McCormick also tallied a goal. Nathan Uhl made eight saves in net.
Softball
Spring-Ford 6, Upper Merion 0: The Vikings managed just three hits and dropped the PAC contest on Tuesday. Molly Gilliland picked up two of the hits for Upper Merion.
Upper Dublin 21, Cheltenham 1: Rayla Kratchman hit a two-run double and finished with two hits as the Cardinals won big on Tuesday. Madden Reilly added two RBIs, including a double and Kaitlyn Zacharia added two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs. Cheltenham’s Keilah Reyes hit a solo home run in the third inning.
Boys volleyball
Souderton 3, Upper Dublin 1: Nate Brown had 19 kills, 9 digs and 3 aces as the Indians won in four sets on Tuesday. Also standing out for Souderton were Derek Gilmore (8 kills, 5 blocks, 5 digs), Alec Kreiser (11 digs, 2 aces), Ian Nice (9 kills, 8 digs),, Matt Quizon (5 digs, 2 blocks) and Ethan Frattarelli (8 digs).
Girls track and field
CB West 100, Souderton 50: Anita Joseph won the javelin with a new PR of 115-11 for the Indians on Tuesday. Also winning events for Souderton were Destini Smith (high jump, 5-0) and Peyton Krebs (400).
