DLN Roundup: Evans’ big fourth quarter spurs Henderson
Whitney Evans scored seven points in the fourth quarter as West Chester Henderson outlasted Downingtown East, 46-44, in Ches-Mont League National Division girls basketball play Tuesday.
Evans hit five of her six free throws in the quarter.
Jackie Shea also had 12 points for the Warriors (1-2). Kaitlyn Miller had two key three-pointers in the fourth.
Charlotte Aldridge paced the Cougars (0-2) with 16 points, while Ari Smuda added 12.

Alexis Fields added 14 as Coatesville went to the free throw line 35 times, making 22. Annalise Kubasko paced the Vikings (2-1) with 14 points and Mikayla Kushner added 13.
