Methacton 68, West Chester Rustin 47: The Warriors led wire-to-wire in a non-league win Thursday. Methacton jumped out to a 16-0 lead and never looked back. Matt Christian made seven three-pointers in a 21-point performance and Alex Hermann added 15.
Holy Ghost Prep 66, Upper Merion 53: The Vikings suffered a non-league loss Thursday night. Colin Hirshorn led the team in scoring with 14 points while Nicholai Smiley and Elijah Davis each scored 10.
Girls basketball
Unionville 60, Methacton 55: The Warriors suffered their first loss of the season in overtime Thursday. Methacton was out-scored 8-3 in the extra session. Reana Torres led the Warriors with 14 points while Mairi Smith added 13. Cassidy Kropp scored seven points, bringing her career total to 728, which is the 12th most in program history.
Upper Moreland 43, Villa Joseph Marie 28: Mikel Lancit scored 11 points to lead the Golden Bears to a non-league win Thursday. Emmy Faith Wood added nine points and Holly Gohl had eight. UM build a 9-2 lead after the first quarter and 19-6 at halftime.

Quakertown 4, North Penn 0: Jacob Siegfried rolled three games over 200 to lead the Panthers to an SOL American win Thursday. Siegfried rolled a game-high 218 and series-high 625. Ben Tucker led North Penn with a 498 series and Chase Lechner rolled a 492, including a team-high 216 in the third game.
Girls bowling
Quakertown 4, North Penn 0: Brenna Gardner, Julia Skarbowski and Alexandra Baranyai all rolled 450 series or better in the Panthers SOL American win Thursday. Gardner rolled a 476, Skarbowski 470 and Baranyai 450. Anna Weatherwax led the Knights with a 370 series.
