Pennridge 2, CB East 1: Hannah Primwhere headed home a corner kick from her sister Hailey to give the Rams an SOL Colonial win Thursday. Casey Malone scored Pennridge’s first goal while Elliot Forney gave East an early 1-0 lead.
Upper Moreland 3, Springfield Montco 2: The Golden Bears scored three straight goals, including Maggie Brophy’s game-winner in the 76th minute, to beat the Spartans Thursday. Willow Taylor scored twice in the first half to dig Upper Moreland out of a 2-0 hole and tie the game. Alana Decker gave Springfield the early lead and Kaleigh Evans made it 2-0.
Archbishop Wood 2, Conwell-Egan 0: Maddy McCloud and Paige Eckert scored in the Vikings PCL win Thursday. Ava DeGeorge and Grace Hoeger tallied assists.
Boys soccer
Perk Valley 3, Dock Mennonite 2: Zach Frederick and Cameron LaSeur each had one goal and one assist in the Pioneers loss to the Vikings Thursday. Brayden Kratz made three saves in goal.
Pope John Paul II 3, Collegium 0: Luis Martinez tallied a hat trick in the Golden Panthers win Thursday. Martinez netted one in the first half and two in the second. Jason Krum made five saves for PJP.
Girls volleyball
Souderton 3, Pennridge 0: McKenna Murawski had 10 kills, seven digs, one ace and one block in the Indians SOL Continental sweep over the Rams, 25-23, 25-22, 25-11, Thursday. Teya McConaha added 10 kills, three digs and three blocks. Grace Boyd had 23 assists and five digs.
Pope John Paul II 3, Boyertown 0: Hutton Cordrey had 15 kills and 17 digs in the Golden Panthers PAC win. Natalie Ricevuto added 11 kills and Gabriella Cooper 16 digs.
Methacton 3, Upper Perkiomen 0: Jacque Rizzuto led the Warriors with 13 kills and eight aces while Madison Roeger added seven kills in a PAC sweep over Upper Perk Thursday. Sam Kiernan set the offense with 22 assists and added an ace and a kill.
