Springfield Montco 4, William Tennent 0: Emma Yoder scored three goals to lead the Spartants to an SOL Freedom win Thursday. She also assisted on Gracie Buchholz’ goal. Goalkeepers Kennedy Braddock and Grace Bell combined for a shutout.
Wissahickon 10, Hatboro-Horsham 0: Riley Ball scored two first-quarter goals and completed her hat trick in the fourth quarter to lead the Trojans to an SOL Liberty win Thursday. Caroline Kirkpatrick and Kendall Crowley each added two goals in the win.
Phoenixville 4, Upper Merion 3: Rylie McGrath scored two goals in the Vikings PAC Frontier loss Thursday. Becca Shuler added a goal and Ella Menke an assist.
Pope John Paul II 8, Pottstown 0 >> Cate Mink scored four goals in the Golden Panthers PAC Frontier win Thursday. Abby Wilmot added two goals and Sarah Mink and Katie Niles each scored once.

Gwynedd Mercy 5, Mount St. Joseph 0: Five different Monarchs scored in the first half of an AACA win over the Magic Thursday. Ella Koschineg scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the second minute. Kat Pluck, Caroline Drakeley, Hannah Griffin and Riley Morris also scored. Goalkeepers Ellie Verrill and Lynley Koschineg combined for the shutout.
Girls volleyball
Abington 3, Wissahickon 1: The Ghosts improved to 12-2 with a four-set win over SOL American rival Wissahickon Thursday. Kenya Lucas had 16 kills, Sasha Moody eight kills and Shayla Moody six kills. Mary Carter had 31 assists, Liz Tanis four blocks and Ashley Rice four aces.
CB West 3, Quakertown 0: The Bucks swept the Panthers in SOL Continental action Thursday 25-20, 25-15, 25-13. Rachel Hu led the way with nine kills and 12 digs while Elisa Kremser had 30 assists.
Girls tennis
Perk Valley 5, Upper Merion 2: UM dropped all three singles matches and two doubles matches in a PAC match against PV Thursday. Colette Egan and Ishita Singh won second doubles for Upper Merion while Manavi Singh and Jacklyn Nguyen won third doubles.
