Girls’ Swimmer of the Year – Alexa Fulton, Downingtown East
FIRST TEAM
Krista Marlin, West Chester Henderson
Senior finished first in the 200 free and fourth in the 500 free at States, and at Districts was first in the 200 free and second in the 500 free, and earned All-American honors with her performance in both events. Was part of the state qualifying 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams which finished second at States, earning All-American honors.
Katie Simpson, West Chester Henderson
Senior finished 11th in the 100 free and 13th in the 50 free at States, and placed fifth in the 50 free and 10th in the 100 free at Districts. Was part of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams which finished first and third, respectively, at Districts, and placed second at States, earning All-American honors.
Rylee Kelly, West Chester Henderson
Senior finished 10th in the 500 free and 17th in the 200 free at States, and placed fifth in the 500 free and eighth in the 200 free at Districts. Was part of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams which finished first and third, respectively, at Districts, and placed second at States, earning All-American honors.
Izzy Iwasyk, Unionville
Sophomore finished third in the 50 free at States, and set the District 1 record time in the 50 free, placing second. Was fifth in 100 free at States, and placed fourth at Districts. Set school records in both 200 IM and 50 free. Was All-District and All-State in both 50 free and 100 free. Was member of 400 free relay that placed 15th at States.
Delaney Burns, Conestoga
Senior captain, the school’s record holder in the 500 free, was part of 400 free relay that placed third at States and 200 medley relay that finished seventh at States. Posted All American consideration time in 500 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay, and individually at States finished ninth in the 500 free and 13th in the 200 IM.
Lily Robinson, Conestoga
Junior finished fifth in the girls 50 free and eighth in the girls 100 free at States, and placed third in both events at Districts. Posted automatic All-American time in 50 free. Was part of 400 free relay that placed third at States and 200 medley relay that finished seventh at States.
Naomi Furman, Conestoga
Junior finished third in the 100 breast and seventh in the 200 IM at States. Was District 1 champion in 100 breast. (2:06.25). Was part of 400 free relay that placed third at States and 200 medley relay that finished seventh at States.
