Lansdale Catholic 56, Archbishop Ryan 19 >> Lansdale Catholic went out to a 33-7 halftime lead in the Philadelphia Catholic League contest and cruised to its fifth consecutive victory Thursday.
Lauren Edwards scored 13 points for the Crusaders (9-2, 3-0 league) while Gabby Casey finished with 11 points.
Norristown 58, Pottsgrove 41 >> Sudan Wray knocked down a trio of 3-pointers in scoring a game-high 23 points as Norristown built a 15-point halftime lead and snapped a two-game losing streak.
Cara Douglas finished with 19 points while Ryan Morse chipped in 10 points for the Eagles (4-12, 0-6 PAC Liberty, 2-7 conference), who led 30-15 at the break then extended the advantage to 47-26 at the end of the third.
Aaliyah Freeman had 20 points for Pottsgrove (0-10, 0-4 PAC Frontier, 0-6 conference).
Bensalem 50, Pennridge 40 >> Pennridge was up 36-30 after three quarters but Bensalem outscored the Rams 20-4 in the fourth to earn a SOL crossover victory.
Ryan Hodder had 11 points to pace Pennridge (7-8, 3-6 SOL Colonial). Bensalem (7-6, 4-6 SOL Patriot) won its second straight.
Academy New Church 66, Princeton Day School 14 >> Xola Wade finished with 19 points, eight assists, three rebounds and a steal as Academy of the New Church cruised to a nonleague win.
Arianna Frank posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds while also making four steals for the Lions (6-4, 3-1 FSL). Oniya Osbourne posted 15 points, four rebounds, three blocks and an assist.
Boys Basketball
Dock Mennonite 62, Morrisville 40 >> Vaughn Martin gave Dock Mennonite a defensive spark off the bench while the Pioneers (14-2, 10-0 BAL Independence) pulled away with a 24-10 fourth quarter to claim their fourth win a row.
Methacton 55, Pope John Paul II 51 >> Cole Hargrove had a game-best 21 points as Methacton trailed by a point entering the fourth but outscored host Pope John Paul II 20-15 over the final eight minutes to stay undefeated.
Brett Byrne scored 13 points for the Warriors (14-0, 5-0 PAC Liberty, 8-0 conference), who took the second quarter 23-9 to hold a 31-22 lead at halftime. The Golden Panthers (10-4, 5-1 PAC Liberty, 6-3 conference), however, answered by besting Methacton 14-4 in the third to go up 36-35.
Kevin Green’s 12 points led PJP II, which had a four-game win streak snapped. Jaden Workman added 11 points.
Norristown 63, Pottsgrove 55 >> Zaki Gomez made three 3-pointers in leading Norristown with 17 points as the Eagles jumped out to a 23-11 lead after a quarter and went on to earn a PAC victory.
Myon Kirlew had 11 points while DJ Johnson totaled 10 points for Norristown (10-5, 2-3 PAC Liberty, 5-3 conference), which has won four of its last five.
Gabe Rinda scored a game-high 18 points while Nadhir Ward added 10 points for the Falcons (7-8, 2-3 PAC Frontier, 2-6 conference).
Spring-Ford 43, Upper Merion 37 >> Kalil Lawson paced Upper Merion with 13 points as the Vikings (6-6, 4-1 PAC Frontier, 4-4 conference) had their two-game win streak stopped by visiting Spring-Ford.
Gavin Schauder had a game-high 15 points for the Rams (8-4, 2-2 PAC Liberty, 4-3 conference), who led 19-14 at halftime then 29-21 after three quarters.
Bristol 41, Jenkintown 38 >> Bristol outscored Jenkintown 12-9 after the teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 29 to win the BAL matchup.
Jake Hilton had 14 points to pace the Drakes (3-8, 3-4 BAL Presidents), who have lost three straight. Nick Lochel led Bristol (8-6, 6-4 BAL Independence) with 14 points while Shaquille Grimes added 10 points.
Central Bucks East 71, Pennsbury 69 >> A 3-pointerby Pennsbury’s Aidan McCormack sent the SOL crossover into overtime but Central Bucks East edged the host Falcons 11-9 in the extra period to pick up its second straight win.
Aidan Weaver knocked down four 3-pointers in scoring a team-high 14 points and also grabbed six rebounds for the Patriots (10-5, 6-4 SOL Colonial), who led 46-39 after three quarters but was outscored 21-14 by Pennsbury in the fourth (7-3, 5-3 SOL Freedom).
Jacob Cummiskey chipped in 13 points for East while Nick Rivera collected six points, five rebounds and four assists.
Teddy Mangan scored a game-high 23 for the Falcons, who lost their second straight. McCormack had 20 points while Ty Kocak totaled 18 points.
