Gage Sibley secured game scoring honors for the Trojans (2-1) as they opened PAC Frontier Division play by outlasting the Indians.

Sibley scored 18 points while teammate Ty Elliot-Moore added another 10. Kyle Clancy was UP’s leading scorer with 15 points.

A 15-9 third quarter brought the Vikings back against Rustin, but the visitors held on for the non-league win Thursday.

Eddie Higgins hit for a game-high 17 points Thursday, leading the Bears past Faith Christian in non-league play.
Higgins also took two defensive charge calls to bring his season total to six.

Compass Academy 102, Perkiomen School 72

Though they had four players hit double figures, the Panthers found themselves well-outscored by Compass Basketball Academy Thursday.
Perkiomen got 13 points from Jake Okon on three 3-point goals. Cyriac Putthusery added 12 points while Julius Farin and Kuzey Ercan both had 10.

Girls Basketball

West Chester Rustin 59, Methacton 50

HIGHLIGHTS: Methacton went cold in the second half and couldn’t keep pace with Rustin and the McGurk sisters, Laine and Elizabeth who combined for 36 points Thursday. 
Nicole Timko led Methacton with her 22-point outing. Mairi Smith chipped in with seven rebounds for the locals, who were done in by a 14-2 third quarter after taking a 41-36 halftime advantage.

HIGHLIGHTS: Tess Crossan had a game-high 18 points for PJP, but Lily Milewski led three Egan players in double figures as PJP lost a non-league contest Thursday.

Ryanna Hightower-Prentice scored 14 points to lead the Muhls (1-0, 2-2) over the Blazers (0-1, 0-4) in their Berks League contest Thursday.
Aniyah Germany scored six points for Daniel Boone.

HIGHLIGHTS: Sweeping the last eight weights enabled the Vikings to pull away from the Falcons and emerge victorious in Thursday’s non-divisional pairing of PAC member schools.

Pins by Kelly Kakos (138), Luke Ricci (145) and Cole Euker (285), coupled with Gavin Pascoe’s technical fall at 152, got Perk Valley rolling after Pottsgrove, with a Jeffry Strawley pin at 126 andNathan Gillin decision at 132, pulled the visitors to 16-9.

Lauren Zelinske scored a pair of firsts in individual races to help the Wildcats outswim the Eagles in Thursday’s PAC meet.

Zelinske won the 200 IM (2:22.89) and 100 fly (1;03.10). Brianne Cox swam the lead legs on Owen J’s winning 200 medley and 400 free relays, which clocked respective times of 2:02.48 and 3:59.88.
