Highlights: Though the Blues dropped Monday’s match at Applebrook Golf Club, they had the highlight of the day.
As play concluded, Thomas Beaudoin used a gap wedge on the ninth hole — an intimidating 135-yard par-three with an elevated green an d trouble everywhere. The shot bounced twice and drained into the hole for his first hole-in-one, sending both teams watching near the green into a pandemonium before Hill’s golfers rushed up the fairway to celebrate with their teammate.
Gregor Weissenberger’s five-over 41 was the best score of the day for Hill. Also scoring were Beaudoin (43), Nick Rafetto (43), Terry Shao (46) and Lucas Steinmetz (46).
