Swimming: Conaway leads Upper Darby past Bonner-Prendergast
Payton Conaway showed off her speed by winning the 50 and 100 freestyle events and taking part in two winning relays as Upper Darby topped Bonner-Prendergast, 77-62, in a nonleague meet.
Kiera Hunt won the 100 butterfly and anchored winning 200 and 400 free relays. Julia Shetzline won the 100 breaststroke and joined Conaway and Elise Olmstead (winner of the 200 free) on the victorious 200 medley relay.
Bonner-Prendergast’s two wins were supplied by Grace McBlain, who captured the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke.
Boys Swimming
Connor Hunt and Luke Olmstead bookended the meet by taking part in winning 200 medley and 400 free relay squads to lead Upper Darby to an 80-63 nonleague win over Bonner-Prendergast.
Olmstead won the 200 free and 100 fly. Hunt was quickest in the 200 IM and 100 back. Alfonsus Rahardjo, who swam breaststroke on the winning medley relay, also took home the 50 free and 100 breast title.
Bonner-Prendie’s Jeffrey Travers won the 100 free.
