Reporter/Times Herald Area Week Six Football Previews

Playoff football arrives Friday, and top-seeded Pennridge looks to stay undefeated and advance when it hosts No. 4 Coatesville in a District 1-6A Semifinal at Pennridge.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
“From the first day we got back together this year, the guys have done an awesome job,” Rams coach Cody Muller said after last week’s 21-15 win over Abington. “I’m so proud of these kids and what they’ve done, coming together and being a family.
“It’s amazing to see, from where we were to where we are now.”
The Rams capped a 5-0 regular season last week and secured the Suburban One League National Conference title. The Red Raiders come into this one 4-0, having won the Ches-Mont League National Division.
Coatesville routed Kennett last week, 34-6.
The Red Raiders would like Dametrius McClain-Jackson to have another big night – last week he rushed for 177 yards and scored three touchdowns.
The Rams also have a big-time running attack. Brayden Landherr, Cornelius Shoemake Jr., Dillon Powles and quarterback Bobby Croyle all contribute. Linebacker Shane Hartzell powers a stingy defense for Pennridge.
The winner advances to next week’s final, against either Souderton Area or Spring-Ford.
