ROUNDUP: Ridley’s McCaughan scores 20 in win over Interboro
Dakota McCaughan made five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 20 points to help Ridley to a 73-39 romp of Interboro in nonleague girls basketball action Monday.
Lindsay Boyd amassed 12 points and Shannen Hinchey contributed 10 for the Green Raiders (14-2), who outscored the visiting Bucs, 40-20, in the second half. Madison Chapman, Mackenzie Everrett and Mackenzie Griffith each tossed in seven points.
McCaughan, a senior guard, recently eclipsed the 1,000-point milestone for her career.
Riley Mollica-Szatny netted a team-high eight points for Interboro.

Upper Darby 51, Kennett 37 >> The host Royals (7-8) held the Blue Demons to three points in each of the first two quarters. Jasmine Forrester led the scoring attack with 20 points and Aubrey Ennis ended with 17 points and three assists. Hannah Asaka added eight points to the winning cause.
Westtown 47, Radnor 27 >> Ellie Mueller compiled 10 points, nine rebounds and five steals for the Raiders (9-5). Brienne Williams netted all 12 of her points in the first half, while Caitlin Higgins pitched in with nine points.
Sanford (Del.) 66, Penn Wood 50 >> La’Shonda Smith poured in 19 points and Jada Smith chipped in with 13, but the Patriots fell at the Martin Luther King Jr. Showcase at A.I. Dupont High School in Delaware.
Ashley Smith contributed 10 points in the losing effort.
