Reporter Boys Basketball Roundup: North Penn, Archbishop Wood, Jenkintown earn wins

North Penn 69, Central Bucks South 48 >> Mike Chaffee was one of four North Penn players to score in double figures, knocking down six 3-pointers for a game-high 18 points as the Knights rolled to an SOL Continental win Friday night.

Joe Larkins collected 10 of his 15 points in the second half while Matt Swanson and Josh Jones both finished with 12 points for North Penn (4-8, 2-3 conference).

The Knights held a 30-21 lead at halftime, ended the third quarter up 36-22 then pulled away outscoring  the Titans 23-16 in the fourth.

Andrew Dietz and Michael Farley each scored 15 points for CB South (8-5, 3-2). Farley recorded 13 of his points in the second half.

Archbishop Wood 76, Conwell-Egan 29 >> Rahsool Diggins scored 12 of his 14 points in the second quarter as Archbishop Wood rolled to its seventh straight win in the PCL contest.

Daeshon Shpherd recorded all 11 of his points in the first quarter while nine of Marcus Randolph’s 11 points came in the third for the the Vikings (9-3, 5-0 PCL), who  led 40-17 at halftime.

KJ Davis paced Conwell-Egan (2-9. 0-6 PCL) with 11 points.

Jenkintown 55, Calvary Christian 41 >> Jadan Welch scored a game-high 24 points as Jenkintown used a solid first half to claim a home BAL victory.

Clinton Jackmon added 17 points for the Drakes (2-9, 2-3 BAL Constitution), who led 29-14 at halftime.

Gabe Conover had 14 points to pace Calvary Christian (5-8, 2-5 BAL Presidents) while Luke Potts collected 10 points

Malvern Prep 63, Germantown Academy 42 >> Deuce Turner scored 10 of his game-high 22 points in the third quarter as Malvern Prep pulled away in the second half for an Inter-Ac victory.

Juan Adames led Germantown Academy (8-6, 1-1) with 12 points. Zach Anderson, Jordan Longino and Casey Traina each had eight points for the Patriots.

The Friars (11-4, 2-0 league), who won their fifth straight, were up 25-19 at halftime before pushing their lead to 12 at the end of the third at 46-34..
