Upper Moreland 40, Upper Dublin 37 >> EmmyFaith Wood knocked down four 3-pointers in scoring a game-high 20 points Friday as Upper Moreland gave up just a point to Upper Dublin in the second quarter then held on in the second half to upset the Cardinals for an SOL American victory.
Kaiya Herb added 10 points for the Golden Bears (4-5, 2-2 conference), who outscored UD 16-1 in the second quarter to build a 23-12 lead at the half. The win snaps UM’s three-game losing streak.
Jackie Vargas paced the Cardinals (6-3, 3-1) – who had won their last three – with 15 points, eight coming in the first quarter. Sarah Eskew scored all 11 of her points in the second half.
North Penn 52, Quakertown 26 >> Quakertown led 11-9 after a quarter but North Penn took over by outscoring the Panthers 24-6 over the next eight minutes as the Knights rolled to their fourth win in a row.
Alli Lindsay scored nine of her game-high 15 points in the second quarter for North Penn (7-2, 2-1 SOL Continental). Val McGriff added eight points while Alaina Mullaly and Carley Adams each collected seven points.
Abigal Dickson’s six points led Quakertown (2-5, 0-3 SOL Continental).
Pennridge 46, Central Bucks South 38 >> Pennridge trailed by six entering the fourth quarter but outscored CB South 19-5 in the final period to rally for an SOL Continental win.
Sophie Cweiber paced the Rams (6-3, 2-1) with 14 points. Julia Kreider chipped in nine points while Ashley Gordon and Corinn Mart each had eight points as Pennridge won its second straight.
CB South (3-6, 1-3) was down 18-16 at halftime but took the third 17-9 to grab a 33-27 lead.
Central Bucks East 46, Souderton 38 >> Mia Salvati posted a game-high 17 points, Emily Chmiel chipped in 16 points and Central Bucks East erased a seven-point halftime deficit to claim its second straight win.
Jordan Zimmerman made three 3-pointers to finish with a team-best points for Souderton (5-4, 1-3 SOL Continental), who had its three-game win streak snapped. Olivia Schneider added eight points.
CB East (5-3, 3-1) trailed 21-14 at the end of the first half but outscored the Indians 14-6 in the third to go up 28-27 before besting Big Red 18-11 in the fourth.
Hatboro-Horsham 56, Springfield-Montco 44 >> Alice Hall collected a game-high 17 points as Hatboro-Horsham claimed its fourth straight victory.
Cam Ryan and Caroline Shegogue both scored nine points for the Hatters (6-3, 3-1 SOL American), who led 31-23 at halftime. Hatboro-Horsham was still up eight at the end of the third then outscored Springfield 15-11 in the fourth.
Rileigh Serroni had 16 points to lead the Spartans (0-8, 0-4 SOL American) while Maddie Yoder added eight points.
Germantown Academy 61, Notre Dame 43 >> Becca Booth recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds as Germantown Academy used a strong second quarter to roll to a win in its Inter-Ac League opener.
Jessica Moore scored a game-high 19 points for the Patriots (11-2, 1-0) who outscored Notre Dame 26-10 in the second quarter to lead 41-21 at halftime. Maddie Vizza had 11 points while Jaye Haynes posted nine points and five rebounds.
Izzy Casale finished with a team-high 17 points while Maeve McErlane had 13 points for the Irish (7-3, 0-1), who had a three-game win streak snapped.
Penn Charter 65, SCH Academy 28 >> Penn Charter had three players finish in double figures as the Quakers built a 38-11 halftime lead and cruised to their 11th consecutive win.
Kait Carter scored a game-high 16 points for PC (11-1, 2-0 Inter-Ac). Carmen Williams had 11 points while Kelsey Bess added 10 points.
Layla Sawyer had seven points to pace SCH Academy (3-6, 0-1).
