Reporter Boys Basketball Roundup: Guldin’s 25 points lead Pennridge past Lansdale Catholic
Pennridge 44, Lansdale Catholic 30 >> Christian Guldin powered the Pennridge offense with a game-high 25 points as the Rams stayed unbeaten with a nonleague road victory Saturday.
Trent Fisher chipped in nine points for Pennridge (4-0), which led 22-13 at halftime.
Jimmy Casey paced LC (2-3, 0-1 PCL) with 11 points while Sean Gibbons had nine points.
Germantown Academy 69, Freire Charter 49 >> Germantown Academy’s Jordan Longino came up big in the third quarter, scoring 12 of his game-high 24 points in the period as Patriots turned a 27-26 halftime lead into a 49-34 advantage entering the fourth.
Casey Traina added 13 points for GA (4-2) while Zach Anderson finished with 12 points.
Freire Charter’s Asim Wilson scored 15 of his team-high 21 points in the first half. Shawn Dwight had 10 points for the Dragons.
Mt. Calvary Christian 64, Jenkintown 63 >> Mt. Calvary Christian’s Aidan Masters hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with just 10 seconds left — the last of his 25 points — while a shot by Jenkintown’s Jadan Welch at the buzzer did not fall.
Welch led the Drakes (0-5, 0-2 BAL Constitution) with 17 points. Clinton Jackmon and Sean Mizzoni each scored 12 points — Mizzoni hitting four 3-pointers. The Drakes led 28-27 at halftime and 45-42 at the end of the third.
Brett Taylor and Tivadar Stambaugh had 16 and 10 points, respectively, for Mt. Calvary Christian.
