Reporter Girls Volleyball Roundup: Plymouth Whitemarsh, Germantown Academy earn victories
The Souderton girls volleyball team won the third game to stay alive but Plymouth Whitemarsh took the fourth to secure a 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 25-19) SOL American Conference victory Tuesday.
Alyssa Reiner had 12 kills and six digs, Hana Ekecs posted 23 digs, three assists and a kill while Maya Hanson had 27 assists, eight digs, four aces and a kill for Souderton.
Germantown Academy 3, Princeton Day School (N.J.) 0 >> Natalie Schildt had seven kills, six assists and four aces, Caitlyn Priore finished with 10 assists, four kills and three digs and Germantown Academy stayed undefeated by sweeping Princeton Day School 25-8, 25-9, 25-6 for a nonleague victory.
Kelli Ramer collected five aces and three assists for the Patriots (5-0) whil Fiona McKenna had three kills, two digs and a pair of aces.
Council Rock North 3, Central Bucks West 0 >> Central Bucks West’s Maggie Winderman eclipsed 1,000 career digs and finished the SOL National match with 11 digs and a kills as the visiting Bucks lost in three games.
Naomi Wood and Sarah Tartaglia both had six kills and a block while Ana Claricurzio recorded 19 assists, seven digs, two aces and a block for West.
