Reporter Field Hockey Roundup: Dock Mennonite shuts out Bristol on Senior Night

Senior Elizabeth Longacre scored twice, both goals assisted by fellow classmate Elle Bergy as Dock Mennonite earned a 3-0 Senior Night victory over Bristol Wednesday in a contest called at halftime due to lightning.

Christine Hu scored 38 seconds into the BAL contest off a Savahn Duerksen assist. Longacre doubled the the lead at 28:11 then made it 3-0 with 3:11 left in the first half. 

Bristol goalkeeper Morgan Hamilton made 10 saves.

Archbishop Carroll 10, Conwell-Egan 0 >> Karli Dougherty finished with four goals and an assist as Archbishop Carroll cruised in its Philadelphia Catholic League opener.

Megan Curry and Hailey North both scored twice, Grace O’Neill had a goal and three assists while Carley Bateman recorded a a goal and two assists for the Patriots (1-2-0, 1-0-0), who led 6-0 at halftime.

Nicole Pawelec, Kadi Dekovitch and Julia Kingsburg each collected an assist while Carroll goalie Cat Crossan made three saves.
