Spence’s big day paces Springfield

Jack Spence had a hand in four goals as Springfield rounded out the Central League schedule with a 14-3 handling of Lower Merion.

Spence had three goals and four assists. Jack Clark and Aidan Smith had two goals and two assists each, and Liam DiFonzo potted two goals. Zach Broomall and Jake Methlie combined to go 18-for-20 at the X, with Broomall adding a goal.

In nonleague action:

Strath Haven 10, Southern Lehigh 8 >> Nicky Palermo, Ethan Belville and Ibo Pio each registered hat tricks as the Panthers fought off Lehigh’s late charge. Belville added a helper, Dylan Fitzergald dished two assists and Vincey Palermo recorded eight saves.
