Lachette comes through in the clutch for Bonner & Prendie

Sam Lachette’s clutch two-run hit in the top of the seventh inning propelled Bonner & Prendergast to a 5-4 win over Interboro.

Lachette picked up the win from the circle.

Erin Grogan was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Pandas, who improved to 7-8 overall.

Ridley 3, Cardinal O’Hara 2 >> Morgan Chapman blasted a three-run homer with two strikes and two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the Green Raiders in front. Chapman was the winning pitcher, too, fanning five in a complete-game performance.

Mollie Reece added a double and a single in the winning effort.

Allison Ahearn had a double for the Lions.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Notre Dame 5, Episcopal Academy 3 >> Bianca Rosato smacked the go-ahead, two-run single in the top of the fifth inning after Caroline Adams’ two-run knock tied the score. The Irish overcame a 3-0 deficit with five runs in the seventh.

Grace Jackson went the distance with eight strikeouts and contributed on offense with two hits. Hana Jackson and Kate Bradley also chipped in two hits.

Hailee Moran homered and doubled for the Churchwomen.
