Reporter Girls Lacrosse Roundup: Souderton, Upper Dublin earn non-league wins
Randi Hess finished with four goals and two assists while goalkeeper Lauren Scott made 14 saves as the Souderton girls lacrosse team edged Penncrest 12-11 for its third-straight win in Wednesday’s non-league contest.
Riley McGowan scored four goals while Caroline Kelly added two goals for the Indians (6-5, 2-2 SOL American), who led 7-5 at halftime.
Upper Dublin 15, Haverford 5 >> Becky Browndorf scored three goals and handed out four assists as Upper Dublin dominated the second half to roll to its third win in a row.
Mack Moore and Julia Reardon paced the Cardinal (7-4, 3-1 SOL American) with four goals each while Jackie Rama tallied three goals. Riley Brady made 12 saves for UD, which outscored visiting Haverford 7-1 after halftime.
Easton 14, North Penn 13 >> North Penn trailed 6-1 six minutes into the non-league matchup but rallied to pull within 10-9 at halftime but the visiting Red Rovers held on to end the Knights’ five-game win streak.
Lily Szilagyi paced North Penn (5-5, 3-0 SOL National) with six goals. Grace Sacchetti finished with thee goals, three assists and eight draw controls while Emily Varilla has three goals, an assist and six draw controls.
