Wrestling: Shippey avenges loss, helps Interboro defeat Ridley

Nate Shippey dropped a hard-fought, one-point decision to Ridley’s Chris Green in the Wetzel Classic back in December.

Monday night, the freshman from Interboro got even.

Shippey’s 2-1 win over Green at 120 pounds in the opening match propelled the Bucs to a 48-18 nonleague victory over the Green Raiders.

Jake Finley (126), Dom D’Agostino (138) and Isiah Fusaro (145) won by fall in three of the next four matches to break the contest open. Mike Hanna (160), Aaron Stankowitz (170), Sholom Thomas (220), Chase Gallo (106) and Victor Quintiliana (113) also won to secure the victory for Interboro.
