Forrester’s buzzer-beater lifts Upper Darby
Jasmine Forrester beat the fourth-quarter buzzer to give Upper Darby a 41-40 Central League victory over Marple Newtown Tuesday night.
Hannah Asaka rebounded a Gabby Liberio missed shot and tipped the ball to Forrester, who delivered the game-winning basket as time expired. Forrester paired three steals with a game-high 15 points for the Royals (9-3, 4-3). Natalie Koskinas had nine points and six rebounds, while Aubrey Ennis registered eight points and four assists.
Kaely Cristello led the way for the Tigers with 12 points and Hailey Levy added nine.

Radnor 58, Haverford 53 >> The Raiders (10-3, 5-3) shot 6-for-8 at the free-throw line in the second overtime. Brienne Williams scored six of her 13 points in the second extra session.
Ellie Mueller hit a pair of free throws at the end of regulation to force overtime. She finished with a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Holly Holtsberg posted eight points and 10 boards in the winning effort.
Lindsey Lane scored a team-high 15 points and Erin Doherty tossed in 13 for the Fords. Arden Guilfoil had nine and Erin Kelly contributed eight.
Garnet Valley 53, Harriton 42 >> Emily McAteer scored 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds and supplied three assists to lead the Jaguars (12-0, 7-0) to another win.
Madison McKee contributed 10 points and seven rebounds, Brianne Borcky finished with nine points, three assists and two steals, and Jillian Nagy added seven points and three assists.
Penncrest 37, Conestoga 25 >> Kylie Chelo showed the way for the Lions with 11 points, while Alexis Calloway and Megan Arndt chipped in with six apiece. Penncrest pulled away with a 14-2 run in the second quarter.
Springfield 54, Ridley 27 >> The Cougars (11-2, 8-1) snapped their two-game slide behind strong performances from Jordan D’Ambrosio (16 points) and Belle Mastropietro (14 points, eight rebounds). Alexa Abbonizio and Jordan Postiglione added six points apiece.
Emma Leyden led the way for Ridley with six points.
Lower Merion 42, Strath Haven 38 >> Cayden Frazier scored nine points to lead the Panthers, who fell to the Aces in overtime. Haven was without senior guard and Georgia Tech signee Alisha Lewis.
Dagney Lott had eight points and Faith Raymond finished with seven for the Panthers.
In the Del Val League:
Academy Park 67, Chester 38 >> Taylor Flores was unstoppable from long range. The AP guard drained eight 3-pointers en route to a career-high 34 points. LaShay Jackson scored 11 points and Kiasa Cunningham added eight for the Knights.
Ava Franz and Trez Morgan paced the Eagles with 15 points apiece.
Penn Wood 42, Interboro 33 >> Jada Hutt powered the Patriots with 17 points and Ashley Cyrus had 14. Madison Diehl poured in 13 points for the Bucs.
In the Inter-Ac League:
Notre Dame 51, Episcopal Academy 43 >> All-Delco guard Mandy McGurk led all players with 21 points and Maggie Pina finished with 12 for the Irish (11-4). Allie KLynch pitched in with nine points.
The Churchwomen (4-12) had their most 3-pointer in a game this season, but still fell short. Cara Harty netted a team-high 12 points. Bella Piselli, Reilly Cassidy and Olivia Dirks all scored nine points.
Germantown Academy 78, Agnes Irwin 44 >> Rachel Balzer (18), Elle Stauffer (17) and Sarah DiLello (10) all scored in double figures with the undefeated Patriots.
In the Bicentennial League:
Christian Academy 47, Faith Christian 39 >> Grace Gormley had a stellar night with 20 points and 10 rebounds to carry the Crusaders to their 10th win. Britney Dike scored 10 points and Kiera Cryan chipped in with eight.
In the Ches-Mont League:
Unionville 53, Sun Valley 30 >> Abby Seasock led all scorers with 13 points in the loss for the Vanguards.
