Reporter Boys Basketball Roundup: Archbishop Wood rolls to 4th straight win
Archbishop Wood had four players in double figures, led by Daeshon Shepherd’s game-high 24 points, as the Vikings cruised to a fourth-straight win, topping Conwell-Egan 83-39 in their Philadelphia Catholic League matchup Thursday.
Jaylen Stinson finished with 14 points, Rahsool Diggins had 13 points while Julius Phillips added 12 points for Wood (10-2, 5-1 PCL), who led 49-20 at halftime. The Vikings knocked down 10 3-pointers – three each from Diggins and Shepherd.
Camryn Stewart led Conwell-Egan (1-12, 0-6) with 15 points while K.J. Davis posted 13 points.
Perkiomen Valley 64, Souderton 46 >> Tyler Stretchay scored a game-high 21 points as Perkiomen Valley claimed a fourth-straight in non-league contest with visiting Souderton.
Zach Krause chipped in 14 points for the Vikings (10-3, 5-1 PAC Liberty), who led 23-12 after a quarter then went into halftime up 35-21.
Andrew Vince’s 10 points paced Souderton (4-9, 1-4 SOL Continental), which dropped its third straight.
